HALKBANK a.d. Beograd Donates RSD 1.2 Million to National Health Insurance Fund

We are all going through a difficult period which has put the whole world to a serious test, facing bad news every day. More than ever, we need to rely on each other and show solidarity and a high degree of social responsibility.

Guided as always by its recognizable slogan “People Before All”, HALKBANK a.d. Beograd has taken part in fighting coronavirus. Our bank has donated RSD 1,200,000 for the purchase of the necessary medical equipment for the suppression of the COVID-19 epidemic. The funds are meant for the National Health Insurance Fund, to the end of supporting our health system. Kenan Bozkurt, the president of the Executive Board of HALKBANK a.d. Beograd, continuously emphasizes in his daily communication with his employees that we should all be fully aware of the importance of the implemented measures of precaution and protection of both our employees and our respected clients. In line with this, Halkbank has changed the way its branch offices operate, fully adapting it to the recommendations of the Government of Serbia. At the same time, considering all the values that our bank fosters and applies in its operations and its relation to every client, with this humane gesture, we want to uphold our corporate values.
