– Of the 11 banks which accept payment cards on POS terminals, eight have removed fixed and other fees related to the use of POS terminals, such as the fee charged when the trader fails to realize the contracted income, and also the fee for the use of GPRS terminals – the NBS announced.

Said fees have been removed by Postanska Stedionica, Banca Intesa, Komercijalna Banka, Vojvodjanska Banka. Credit Agricole Bank, ProCredit Bank, OTP Bank and UniCredit Bank.

As said, the decisions of these banks do not pertain to the fees charged per individual payment transaction on a POS device.
