Construction of Petrovac's main route in Kragujevac resumed - second phase of works cost 108m RSD

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Dejan Jovanović, the Mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanović, and the CEO of Company for Roads "Kragujevac", Ljubiša Živković, signed the Contract for the second phase of construction of Petrovac's main route on December 9th, 2010.

The value of works is 108m RSD, and half of that amount has been provided from the National Investment Plan, while the rest of the money is provided from the budget of the city of Kragujevac. Signing of the contract will make it possible for the works to be resumed already this month.

By building the section of Petrovac's main route to Sloboda Street, of which completion is expected prior to mid-2011, Kragujevac will get another entrance to the city, next to "Elektrošumadija", which will open a big planned zone and shorten the extension of works on the project for construction of "northern" bypass.
