Europe's Premier Creative Awards ceremony on January 22 in Belgrade

The Europe's biggest Festival of advertising and communication – EPICA will be held on Friday (January 22, 2010) in Belgrade. That is when the Awards ceremony will be held, hosted by New Moment magazine.

EPICA Festival (Europe`s Premier Creativity Awards) is the first and the biggest European festival of creative communications (PR, advertising, design, direct marketing, interactive, new media ...), which will be held for the 23rd time this year, and Belgrade will have the honor to be the host of the gala awards ceremony for the first time.

The EPICA Awards ceremony will be held on January 22nd, 2010, and it is conceived as a multimedia entertainment programme that will start with the solemn reception party for the guests in White Palace, while the awards ceremony will be organized in Belgrade's club Teatro. On that day, Belgrade will be the creative center of Europe.

The jury made of editors-in-chief of 34 European magazines from the fields of advertising and design will be the guests of our capital city, which guarantees exceptional media coverage to the participants, and it is also unique opportunity for promotion of our creative potentials.

Although the EPICA headquarters is in Paris, the Awards ceremony is organized in different European capital city every year (Brussels, London, Stockholm, Athens, Istanbul, Moscow...). This year, Belgrade is the host for the first time!

The organizer of the event is the New Opinion Council, the non-profitable foundation whose aim is to develop, produce and promote ideas for the well-being of Serbia and the region, as well as the society as a whole.

There were over 4,900 works of more than 660 European agencies and multinational companies at last year's EPICA Festival. The works are classified into 41 categories.
