MCF MegaCom Film New Distributor of Disney Films in Serbia

MCF MegaCom Film has announced that it has become an official distributor of the films produced by the Walt Disney company for movie theater distribution in Serbia and Montenegro, as of May 4.

Mulan, directed by renowned author Niki Caro, will be the first Disney title to be distributed by MCF MegaCom Film.

This is an epic story of legendary Chinese warrior Mulan, a fearless young lady who sacrifices all for her love for her family and her country in order to become one of the biggest warriors China has ever seen. Although planned for March, the date has been moved to July 23.

Another film expected for the end of the summer is The Empty Man. This supernatural horror, based on the eponymous comic book, follows a former policeman who suddenly comes across a horrifying discovery.

Several interesting feature films will be shown this autumn, the first being The King's Man: The Beginning, a third installment in the Kingsman franchise, which includes some well known names – Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton. This is to be followed on September 17 by Death on the Nile, directed by Kenneth Branagh, who also directed and starred in Murder on the Orient Express from 2017, another adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel.

The first film from the Marvel Studios, Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson, arrives on November 5.

The French Dispatch, a comedy by renowned director Wes Anderson, is a likely movie theater hit for 2020. The drama brings to life several stories from a fictional newspaper and is to be screened in late November. The ensemble cast includes Christoph Waltz, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and others.

The repertoire also includes Disney's animated movies.

The animated adventure The One and Only Ivan, a combination of an action movie and special effects, which comes to movie theaters on August 20, is based on the eponymous children's novel written by K. A. Applegate. In November, Pixar's new animated comedy Soul promises to take you on a journey from the streets of New York to cosmic empires, in order to find answers to life's most important questions.

A ten-time Oscar winner, including the best film award, West Side Story (1961), has been remade by director Steven Spielberg and screenwriter Tony Kushner, updating the story about lovers trying to stay together despite the constant gang war for a new generation. The remake comes to movie theaters on December 24.
