International conference on possible investors in construction of steam power plant "New Kosovo", which gathers about 50 companies, started on Wednesday (January 20, 2010) in Priština.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Tachi, opened the conference and said that the whole process of construction of that steam power plant of 500 MW would be transparent and based on the Law.
Construction of "New Kosovo" should start in 2011, while the value of the project is between 700m and 1 billion EUR.
