Masks Still to Cost up to 120 Dinars – Limit on Prices of Protective Equipment and Vital Supplies in Effect for Another 30 Days

The Government of Serbia has adopted an amendment to the decision on the limit of prices of vital supplies and protective equipment, extending the validity of the decision by another 30 days.

In order to prevent abuse and unjustified raising of the prices, the Government of Serbia has defined a list of products whose prices cannot be raised.

The list features 36 items, above all, masks and gloves whose maximum price at pharmacies is 120 and 40 dinars respectively.

Wholesale and retail prices of vital supplies and protective equipment are limited. They can't go over the prices from March 5, 2020.

The list features wheat flour, bread, sunflower oil, white sugar, salt, water, fruit and vegetables, pasta, fresh meat, meat products, fish, thermally treated cow milk, powdered milk, yogurt, chicken eggs, food for children, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, detergent, plastic gloves, diapers for children and adults, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, plastic masks with textile filters, covers, textile surgical masks, surgical paper suits, paper masks, rubber protective suits, rubber gloves, bleach and other disinfectants, asepsol, alcohol and protective eyeglasses.
