Toll Collection Possible on Main Roads Too

The director of the Roads of Serbia, Zoran Drobnjak, said that, despite the traffic on the Milos Veliki highway, there were vehicles on the Ibar Main Road and that the road was most frequently used by those looking to avoid paying the road toll.

– There are plenty of trucks attempting to avoid paying the road toll. We are considering implementing road toll collection on those main roads, where there are plenty of heavy vehicles, so as to make those heavy trucks use the highway, for safety purposes – Drobnjak says.
