– Since we initiated the production in Kikinda in 2016, we have doubled the number of employees and we now have over a hundred employees. The new facility will also open new markets for us. So far, we have been working for the aviation industry, truck producers and manufacturers of agricultural mechanization, and the new investment will mark the entry of Mecafor to the aviation industry. By the end of the summer, we expect to complete a new facility, which will take up 3,000 m2, and in the next three years, after the project is finished, we plan to employ another 180 people – said Nedeljkovic, as reported on the city's website.
He added that aircraft turbines will be produced at the future factory and the finishing and machine works will be done there as well.
– During the coronavirus crisis, there's been a drop in the production, but the situation has normalized in the meantime – Nedeljkovic said and added that they were especially proud that Volvo and John Deere were among their clients.
