Cvetković talks with German companies about investments in Serbia

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Mirko Cvetković, will talk with the managements of 18 German companies today (January 25, 2010) in Belgrade about improvement of economic cooperation, especially in the field of investments in Serbian economy.
- Cvetković will speak to the delegation of German business association "Board for the East", which gathers the biggest German companies from the fields of energy, automotive industry, telecommunications, air transportation, civil engineering, IT and trade - the Government of Serbia announced.
The meeting is expected to be attended by the representatives of Volkswagen, power company RWE, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens, Deutsche Bank, BASF, Air Berlin and other companies.
The meeting in the Government of Serbia will also be attended by ministers Mlađan Dinkić, Milutin Mrkonjić, Slobodan Milosavljević, Jasna Matić, Saša Dragin and Ivo Visković, the Ambassador of Serbia to Germany.
The Head of the Delegate Office of German Industry and Commerce for Serbia and Montenegro, Michael Schmidt, told Tanjug earlier that "the interest of big German companies in Serbia is increased".
Schmidt reminded that the visit of German delegation to Serbia, led by him, was the second such visit since 2005, but he did not want to reveal any details of the reasons for the visit and the issues that would be discussed on that occasion.
