Sweden Gets Its First Public 5G Network

Sweden has got the first public mobile network of the new generation (5G), Tele2 Group announced.

The company thereby rose on top of the competition, Telia and Ericsson, the media report.

Users in Stockholm can now browse the web at the 5G speed beginning with Sunday, whereas Gothenburg and Malmo will have to wait until June 24, Index reports.

Following that, Tele2 will gradually expand the network to cover the whole country.
