Air Serbia Announces Resumption of Flights from Nis and Kraljevo

After receiving authorization by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Air Serbia is to resume flights from Nis and Kraljevo.

The plan is for Air Serbia to start carrying out flights from Nis on June 16, whereas the national airline carrier's aircraft are to start flying from Kraljevo on June 30.

In the period between June 16 and 30, lines from Nis to Frankfurt and Nuremberg will be resumed, whereas, after July 1, flights to Hanover, Salzburg and Tivat are to be resumed as well. When it comes to Kraljevo, flights to Vienna are to resumed on June 30. The exact schedule will soon be published at airserbia.com.

– The conditions have met for us to gradually resume flights from Nis and Kraljevo. This is great news for our travelers from south and southeast Serbia, who have expected it eagerly. In the past two and a half months, we have constantly been asked about when the flights from those two towns are to be resumed. For all of us at Air Serbia, it is a great satisfaction that I can confirm that we are resuming the flight from Nis on June 16 and from Kraljevo on June 30. Family members and friends that have been separated for a long time will be able to meet again finally, and business people and tourists are sure to follow – said Duncan Naysmith, the CEO of Air Serbia.

He added that, in the next period, there would be efforts to resume flights to other destinations from Nis and Kraljevo, while closely following the situation and monitoring all the factors.
