Hundred reasons why it is good to live in Serbia
Guided by our country's popular motto "I wish I lived in Serbia and had the salary as high as in the West", a group of young people started the "Serbia 100 Plus" project. A recent statement by a Serbian politician and CEO of a public company that he earns as much as a cashier in Germany serves as an additional stimulus for them to explain foreign citizens with the pensions as high as a German cashier's salary that they can live in our country as members of authorities.
For full three years creative team 100 Plus, made of scholars of the Government of Serbia and members of Mensa, observes Serbia from a completely new angle. In the flood of information on our country they found hundred reasons that make our country a desireable destination for living and invited people around the world to come to Serbia to study, work and live a quality life.
An open invitation is sent exclusively to foreign citizens, students, businessmen, retired people, regardless of their education, age, religion, color of skin…
Here are some reasons why it is good to live and work in Serbia:
- Bela Crkva and its natural resources – seven lakes, the rivers Danube, Karaš and Nera, Deliblato sands, Danube-Tisa-Danube Canal, and the business potentials of company Ecoagri with its horse farm, ethno-village and accommodation capacities. Serbia also has cultural events Exit and Guča and tourist complex Mećavnik. Prolom spa, Lukovska spa, Kuršumlijska spa, Devil's Town and big potentials for brownfield and greenfield investments are also among good reasons why the life in Kuršumlija would be of high quality.
Speaking of previous experiences, the creative team leader and the creator of the "Serbia 100 Plus" project, Milan Miletić, a graduate engineer of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, gave us a few examples:
(Milan Miletić)
- We were contacted by a married couple from Paderborn who wished to come to live in Serbia. Because of small pensions for German conditions and cold climate in the north, Gunter and Zilke Schulz see their future in Serbia. Benkt Forsten from Finland wants to move the production of skis to Serbia where he intends to employ 15 wood processors, while Ula
Johanson, the editor of a TV show for kids in Stockholm, wants to have reconstructive plastic surgeries on her face and body done in a medical institution in Belgrade. Suleiman Altabi from Iraq contacted us because he wants to study medicine or veterinary medicine in Serbia in order to fulfil the wish of his father who graduated from med school in Serbia and died during the war in Iraq.
"Is it possible to bring cash to Serbia and how is it regulated by the Law?" is one of the questions asked to the team of "Serbia 100 Plus".
According to Miletić, Serbia is also interesting to foreign people because of so-called "dental tourism" since these services in our country are much cheaper than anywhere in Europe. There are also many people interested in hip prosthesis surgery, aesthetic surgery, artificial insemination, education, purchase of real estates, various business relations, taking Serbian citizenship, accepting Orthodox faith…..
Milan Miletić points to big significance of the "family member" service within the "Serbia 100 Plus" project.
- Upon their arrival in Serbia, all foreigners who want to live in our country, no matter if they are students, businessmen or retired persons, get a contact person, a "family member", from the team of "Serbia 100 Plus". "Family member" services the requests of foreigners in their own language during their stay in Serbia and maintains a constant Internet link with them.
The creative team of "Serbia 100 Plus" has large number of associates in almost all places in Serbia. In the creation of "good reasons" for the life in our country, they use the experiences of local self-government, information from encyclopedia, all types of media, archives, records, authorized records, museum exhibitions, economic achievements, etc.
- All rights and obligations of interested foreigners are precisely defined by the contract. Also, we are open for partnerships with the people in Serbia who want to be our associates in the provision of services.
Serbia will soon be presented to the world via website www.serbia100plus.rs in Serbian and English language. The website may be later translated into German, Greek, Chinese and other languages in case the number of visits is big enough.
The creative team of "Serbia 100 Plus" made a firm decision to give a contribution to development of our country in all segments by staying and doing creative work in Serbia.
