Negotiations with Shandong-Hi Speed About Construction of Fourth Bridge in Novi Sad Continued

The mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, has once again met with representatives of the Chinese company Shandong Hi Speed at the Town Hall. They continued their talks about the potential cooperation on the realization of the project of the construction of a fourth bridge in Novi Sad with a bypass route, designated a project of national importance.

As the mayor emphasized, this is a big infrastructural endeavor, whose importance goes beyond Novi Sad, so it is very important for the coordination of all the participants to be done with the highest level of authorities, in order to find the best solutions.

The work group within which representatives of the Government of Serbia, the Government of Vojvodina, the City of Novi Sad, the Faculty of Technical Sciences and transportation and urban planning companies are appointed is in charge of managing all the processes and activities concerning the construction of the fourth bridge, and the General Project, which is in the final phase and whose preparation is expected by the end of September, will define the time frame and other technical guidelines for the project, after which official bids by interested companies can be expected, the city says in a press release.

The representatives of the Chinese company have expressed a readiness to comply with the agreements and dedicate themselves fully to the project, so that the investment is realized in the best way possible in cooperation with the city and the Government of Serbia if their project is accepted.
