Tender announced for sale of property of company Ivan Milutinović
The Privatization Agency announced the tender today (March 12, 2010) for sale of the property of Belgrade-based company for waterways Ivan Milutinović (PIM) in restructuring and transfer of permits for exploitation at the minimum price of 16.55m EUR.
All companies that deal with construction of hydro facilities, which is PIM's primary field of work, river transportation, stone or gravel and sand extraction, can participate in the tender if their incomes in 2008 exceeded 30m EUR.
The deadline for submission of applications for procurement of the tender documentation at the price of 10,000 EUR is April 16th, while the deadline for submission of binding bids is May 14th.
PIM's buyer will be obliged to remain in the business within next five years and invest 10m EUR.
The social program, which will have to be signed by the future owner, anticipates dismissal of none of 442 workers within next three years.
The procedure of privatization of PIM was started in 2005 when the Government of Serbia introduced temporary measures in that company due to high debts, but it was discontinued in 2008 because the company's management did not accept the restructuring program offered by the privatization adviser.
