Cloud Ada Event During Next Two Weekends in Ada Ciganlija

The Cloud Ada event will be organized during the next two weekends in Ada Ciganlija with the support of the City of Belgrade. The Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, explained that the event will consist of Beer Fest Bar on the first weekend and Music Week Bar on the second weekend since the same traditional festivals were canceled this year due to coronavirus pandemic.

– Due to the current situation, the City of Belgrade was left without its traditional festival. Since the epidemiological situation is improving, the City decided to start organizing these and similar events in bar form, with providing protection to all visitors, Vesic said at the press conference in the Old Palace building, reminding that theaters and cinemas in Belgrade opened again recently.

He stated that the Beer Fest Bar is being held from September 11 to September 13 at the stands by the referee tower in Ada Ciganlija. The music stage will be situated on the water and the popular local rock and pop bands will perform there. Music Week Bar will be held in the same place from September 18 to September 20, Vesic said.

– I hope the event will be successful considering the citizens of Belgrade are yearning for open-air concerts. Also, we might even organize the event in the future, as an independent thing from Beer Fest or Music Week. I'm certain this is just the start of going back to normal while adhering to the proscribed measures, the Deputy Mayor said. – The City of Belgrade hasn't given up on the traditional New Year's eve celebration. Depending on the epidemiological situation the City will prepare the celebration and it might happen that the celebration is organized together with the Music Week this year.
