"Vojvodinaput" sold to "Niš" for about €10m
The biggest road paving company in Vojvodina - "Vojvodinaput" Novi Sad has been bought by businessman Milo Đurašković. The sales contract, on the basis of the tender realization, has been signed in the premises of the Privatization Agency and, according to the contract, Đurašković, i.e. his company for roads "Niš", will pay €10.1m for takeover of 70% of assets of "Vojvodinaput" and invest at least €5.1m.
Two Austrian companies took part in the tender - big "Strabag" and company "Alpina", but their offers were worse than the price given by businessman Đurašković, which proved to be the very best.
"Vojvodinaput" is the fifth road paving company bought by Đurašković. He also owns Company for Roads "Niš", Company for Roads "Kragujevac", Company for Roads "Vranje" and he is co-owner, together with "Delta", of Company for Roads "Beograd". These five companies cover major share of paving potential in Serbia. In other words, thanks to them, Đurašković has the title of the first road paver in Serbia. Also, it is good to say that there is no information known to public on who is the owner of majority package of stocks of Company for Roads "Beograd", Đurašković or Mišković’s "Delta".
