Roman Abramovič to have heliodrom, hotel, golf court... built on Horse Farm Ljubičevo...?
At the last meeting of Town Government of Požarevac, Predrag Pajić, Municipal Manager, announced long-term solution for fallen horse farm and farm Ljubičevo. On that occasion, he officially announced that the Russian businessman, the owner of London’s Football club Chelsea, Roman Abramovič, had taken offer for strategic partnership in Horse farm Ljubičevo into consideration.
Pajić said that the letter with concrete offer had been delivered to the address of Roman Abramovič and that his reply was expected, as well as his visit to Požarevac. Since, according to the Law, the sale of memorials and legacies is not allowed, Abramovič was offered the contract on rental of the oldest Serbian horse farm, the legacy of Milan Obrenović, on period of 5, 49 or 99 years, with the possibility of later extension of the rental period.
In that case, Russian investor would realize existing project Tourist-recreation center Ljubičevo in the following period – construction of hotel, golf court, tennis courts, swimming pools, trim tracks, field for horse riding school and heliodrom is in the pipeline.
