Nis to Get Underground Public Garage in City Center – PUE Parking Servis to Reconstruct Area Beneath Poslovni Centar Ambasador

The City of Nis will let the PUE Parking Servis use the parking space of 1,581 m2 beneath Poslovni Centar Ambasador (“Ambassador” Business Center), and Nis will get an underground public garage in the city center.

According to Dejan Dimitrijevic, the director of the PUE Parking Servis, this company will overhaul, reconstruct and adapt the garage using its own funds.

According to rough estimates, the underground garage will have around fifty spaces.

– Parking will be charged per started hour, without a time limit, considering that the analysis has shown that the number of parking requests has increased in that part of the city – Dimitrijevic said.

Concrete information about the garage itself and its opening, Dimitrijevic added, will be known once the reconstruction project is completed.

– We have not started yet, because the act of handing over the space is the condition for the designing to start. After we take over the space, we will start preparing the design, where we will examine which features are needed. In line with this, we will come out with concrete dates for the opening of the garage – Dimitrijevic said.
