Italian Company Technosteel to Build Facility for Production of Components for Steel Industry in Ruma – Jobs for 80 Workers

The Italian company Technosteel & Consulting has bought 2 hectares of land in the industrial zone Rumska Petlja, and the construction of the production facility will start in early 2021. Technosteel produces spare parts and machines for the steel industry in the whole world, and the investment in Ruma was announced in September.

According to the president of the Municipality of Ruma, Sladjan Mancic, the company’s representatives paid the amount RSD 14 million, which is how much the land is worth, even before the signing of the agreement.

This is the latest investment in Ruma, but it is not the only one at the moment.

The CEO of Technosteel, Fabio Bianco, says that he has chosen Ruma because it is ahead of all the municipalities in the area when it comes to the industry and because the president of the Municipality of Ruma has helped a lot, which was not the case with the presidents of other municipalities.

– At the moment, we are already operating in Ruma and we have favorable results. Our aim is to have 80 employees at the new facility in the future. We operate in the sector in which no one works here in the area, so these products are not made by anyone else. Thanks to the help provided by the Municipality of Ruma and Serbia in general, we have great results. Thanks to this, we have plenty of orders for 2021 and we hope to continue that way. Our projects are 90% complete and our plan is for the works to begin in March – said Fabio Bianco.
