Electro motors and fans from the Sombor factory Ebm-Papst, which is owned by a German company with capital in Serbia, are meant exclusively for export to the foreign market. The company points out that they have been affected by the economic consequences of coronavirus, but that they quickly returned to their set exporting potential. The plans for the next year are serious and include new investments and employment of additional qualified workforce.

– We plan considerable investments in equipment next year, which will lead to the further increase of the volume of the production and export. Thanks to these investments, there will be new employments and 35 new workers are planned – points out Nemanja Vejnovic, finance manager at Ebm-Papst Sombor.

At the six production departments, 86 workers are currently employed in two shifts, producing 1,000 different models, which are installed in home devices.

The German company points out that they have invested around EUR 2,000,000 so far.
