Ten Domestic Sparkling Wines as a True Choice for the Holidays

Somehow still from the background, quite quietly, the scene of sparkling wines from Serbia is slowly developing, and domestic bottles are already standing next to sparkling wines from better known world regions on the shelves of more prominent wineries. Most of those wines are still produced in small series, using a traditional method of long fermentation in a bottle, which in fact has a crucial effect on their generally high quality.

The editorial staff of Vino & Fino has picked the ten most impressive sparkling wines, which they enthusiastically recommend as the true choice for the holidays.

– First of all, you will pay much less for these bottles than for most of the imported ones, and in most cases, you will get a lot in terms of quality. Besides, this year is definitely the one when we should support our local winemakers, including those persistent enthusiasts who believe that Serbia’s vineyards can give birth to extraordinary sparkling wines – they say.
