From now on, Serbian citizens can cross the Albanian border with an ID card only. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania has also announced that Albanian citizens can now travel to Serbia carrying only an ID card.

This has been enabled by an agreement recently signed by the governments of Serbia and Albania.

Let us remind that, in November 2020, the Government of Serbia adopted the decision enabling citizens of Albania to enter Serbia without travel documents, that is, with a valid biometric ID card only.
