The draft action plan for suppressing the shadow economy is to be presented in April, and its adoption is planned for June, says Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali.

The minister is presiding over the first meeting of the new Coordination Body for the Suppression of the Shadow Economy, which started today.

Mali said on his Instagram profile that 71.2% of the measures of the National Program for the Suppression of the Shadow Economy in 2019-2020 had been fully or partially realized.

– The incentive measures for fair competition, legal entrepreneurship and employment, as well as the measures pertaining to raising awareness among the citizens and the companies of the importance of suppressing the shadow economy, have the greatest degree of realization – Mali wrote.
