Turkish Company Which Produces Components for Mercedes-Benz Looking to Build a Factory in South Serbia

A Turkish company which produces rubber parts for Mercedes-Benz has visited 13 local self-governments, of which they are the most interested in Leskovac, said the mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic.

Let us remind that Cvetanovic earlier announced a meeting with a Turkish company which is interested in building a new factory in Vranje, Bojnik or Leskovac.

– Let me repeat that the Government of the Republic of Serbia and president Aleksandar Vucic are overseeing the decentralization and the regional development of all the municipalities. Regardless of the fact that we are the first in Serbia to get a BFC certificate with 96.33% for the fourth time, which people can see for themselves through direct communication, the decision is up to them and I don’t want to interfere nor do I have reason to do so – he added.

He said that the City of Leskovac had already prepared the infrastructure, in case the Turkish company chose that location.
