Belgrade Boat Carnival in Belgrade between June 18 and 20

- The Belgrade Boat Carnival will be held between June 18 and 20, and it will last for three days for the first time this year - the Tourism Organization of Belgrade announced today.

According to the announcement, the central manifestation, that is, the carnival programme, will be held on Sunday, June 20, in the center of Belgrade and on the Sava river, in a part of the aquatorium and on the banks from Branko's Bridge to the mouth of the Sava.

The programme will include the review of water sports, ride on the carnival-style decorated ships, performances by the kids and other carnival groups from Serbia and abroad, dance groups, majorettes.

As an intro to the carnival, Basker Festival (www.baskerfest.com) will be organized in Knez Mihailova Street and in front of Usce shopping mall.

The Belgrade Boat Carnival will be organized this year as a part of the programme of big European manifestation "The Day of the Danube", which will also be celebrated in Serbia.

The organizer of the seventh Belgrade Boat Carnival is the Tourism Organization of Belgrade, while the patron is the Belgrade City Assembly.
