Summit of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in May

A big summit of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held in May, announced Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

– A big summit with B&H, their entities and cantons, will be scheduled for May – Vucic told the press after visiting the works on the construction of the traffic infrastructure and the bridge on the Sava near Sabac.

When asked about the problem of Serbian citizens moving across the bridge in Mali Zvornik to Zvornik, that is, why, according to the interstate agreement, the bridge can still only be used by the citizens of Mali Zvornik, and not, for example, those from Loznica who come to Mali Zvornik, Vucic said that the topic would be discussed at the May summit.

– We will try to solve it. I can’t promise that they will accept it, but I will raise the issue – Vucic said.

He added that, once the coronavirus pandemic ends, the plan is to dig through a tunnel between Ljubovija and Osecina, which would enable the development of tourism on both sides of the Drina.

– That would help the development of tourism in Republika Srpska and, of course, B&H – Vucic stated.
