Walter for Chinese market - Bata Živojinović advertises Hemel cosmetics
Serbian actor Velimir Bata Živojinović and company Hemel from Jagodina signed the contract today (June 15, 2010) on formation of company Walter, which will be importing and exporting goods from China.
- The first product that will be exported to China is Hemel's protective cream for leather goods. It will have a logo with the image of Walter from "Walter Defends Sarajevo" movie, in which Živojinović played the lead role - Hemel's owner Nenad Miljković said at the press conference.
The idea is that all Serbian products that are exported to China through the newly-formed company have the logo with the image of Živojinović as Walter.
Živojinović said that he would bring the image of Walter to the company, but the press did not find out how much Hemel had paid Živojinović to use that image on its protective cream that would be exported to China.
Živojinović pointed out that he had the international right to use that image and added that the heirs to the screenwriters who had died in the meantime had been paid for the movie remake.
Živojinović is the most popular Serbian actor in China, while "Walter Defends Sarajevo" is by far the most watched film in that country.
