As explained in the proposition, this means that all those who earned less than around RSD 673,000 a year would have no obligations for the past period.
The proposition says that, for all freelancers, regardless of the activity, recognized expenses of 43% of the realized income, including the non-taxable amount, would be acknowledged.
In addition to an earlier period, these benefits would also apply to all income realized by September 30, 2021.
The tax obligation for the past period would be determined without the calculated interest for the period before the adoption of the decision, and the obligations would be settled in a period of 10 years in 120 monthly installments, with the possibility of premature repayment.
In case the repayment of a certain installment is late, only the interest from the due date to the payment date would be calculated.
When it comes to future payments, it is specified that, from October 1, only recognized expenses of RSD 54,900 on a quarterly level would be acknowledgment and taxes and contributions would be calculated on a quarterly, instead of a monthly, basis.
The adoption of a new law that would regulate the rights of online workers is expected this year.
