Azotara Pancevo up for Sale for the Third Time – Initial Price Four Times Lower

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency has advertised the third sale of HIP Azotara Pancevo as a legal entity. This time, the initial price at the public bidding is as much as four times lower compared to the previous sale attempt, so the factory of artificial fertilizers and nitrogen compounds in Pancevo, together with the equipment, receivables, mechanization and material stock, is now being offered for RSD 581.4 million.

At the previous bidding, the initial price was RSD 2.3 billion, half of what it was at the first auction – RSD 5.8 billion.

The previous two attempts at the sale, according to the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency, were unsuccessful because no deposit was paid and no banking guarantee was submitted for participation in the public bidding.

The new public bidding is scheduled for May 6.
