According to the magazine, the hotel is truly something special, as most of it is underground, Poslovni Dnevnik reports.
According to the architect, this hotel, with five rooms and three apartments, provides the most authentic contact with the nature, because it is located on ten hectares of a century-old olive garden in Zman, in the south of this Dalmatian island.
Unlike numerous other luxury hotels in Croatia, built with the help of foreign investors, the construction of Vila Nai 3.3 was financed with the help of state subsidies by a native of Split, Goran Morovic, an olive farmer.
The five-star hotel, which is largely located underground, is only minimally interfering with the environment, and the excavated rock was mostly used in its construction.
The facility also includes a small oil press, as well as a space for the tasting of home-made olive oil “Nai 3.3”, one of the first Croatian organic olive oils certified at a Swiss lab.
The hotel can take up to 16 guests, and the price matches the number of stars. An overnight stay at Vila Nai 3.3 costs over EUR 1,000, and in the peak tourist season, the price can reach up to EUR 2,000.
