Swiss-Serbian startup Relio, launched by Lav Odorovic, an entrepreneur from Belgrade, has collected EUR 650,000 in investments from SIX Fintech Ventures and HTGF Fund. Lav previously founded and managed the digital bank Penta in Germany, which was acquired by Finleap.

This team, with an office in Belgrade as well, is developing the first digital account for small businesses in Switzerland. The team in Belgrade is led by Zarko Vukadinovic, the president of ACFE Serbia and one of the founders of Mobi Bank (formerly Telenor Bank).

The other investors are Richard Davies, former CEO of Revolut, as well as Gian Reto a Porta, former CEO of Contovista, who is the chairman of the board of directors. According to the company, this round of financing is meant for the expansion of the technical infrastructure and will enable the company to offer services to the clients upon the obtaining of the license. This is a pre-seed investment, and negotiations about the next seed round are currently in progress in Zurich and Belgrade.
