Fourth Serbian Conference on Public-Private Partnership on June 8 in Hybrid Form

The Fourth Serbian Conference on Public-Private Partnership will be held in a hybrid form on June 8, 2021, as announced by the organizer, TGI Group International.

A large number of officials and experts from the sector will speak at the conference, including Serbian Construction Minister Tomislav Momirovic, Serbian Economy Minister Andjelka Atanaskovic, IFC Regional Manager for Central and Southeast Europe Ary Naim, EBRD Regional Director for the Western Balkans Matteo Colangeli and others.

The conference will deal with the challenges in the domain of infrastructure and energy and the question of how innovations in the realization of projects and technology can help solve those challenges. Concrete topics include the structuring of PPP projects and the role of international finance institutions in the successfulness of PPP projects, the best PPP practices in Serbia and the region, the perspectives and challenges for PPP in the sectors of infrastructure, energy and tourism, priorities of municipalities and the structuring and management of legal contracts on PPP.

– The aim of this conference is to point to the importance of the concept of a public-private partnership, which has become one of the leading models in the world, to connect investors and experts with all the relevant state and financial stakeholders. The conference will cover the key challenges in planning investments through the model of a public-private partnership, especially following the crisis caused by COVID-19 – the press release says.

The conference is organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Economy, the UK Embassy in Belgrade and the Commission for Public-Private Partnership, and it is supported by the JPM Jankovic Popovic Mitic Law Office.
