German Companies Seeking Suppliers from Serbia – More Than 50 Companies from Europe’s Strongest Economy to Take Part in This Project

The regional B2B project is held online this year from September 27 to October 15, with the aim of German companies finding subcontractors from the targeted industrial sectors in Serbia and the countries of the Western Balkans.

The German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Srbija), representations of the German economy in the countries of the Western Balkans (AHK), as well as the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME e.V), are organizing the regional B2B project “German Initiative for Finding Suppliers in the Western Balkans States”, which is to take place for the seventh year in a row. Last year, over 300 B2B meetings were held, with 52 Serbian companies participating.

This year, interested German companies are coming primarily from the metalworking sector (casting, smithing, die-cutting and component-bending) and the sectors of plastic injection and electronics. The project aims for German companies to find suppliers from the targeted industries in Serbia and the countries of the Western Balkans, whereas the concept of the project is based on the B2B-matchmaking mechanism. Over 50 German companies have confirmed their participation in the project.

Serbian companies which recognize themselves as a potential supplier for one of the German companies may apply on the website of AHK Srbija at https://serbien.ahk.de/sr/, which also lists the profiles and conditions of the German companies. The application deadline is June 17, 2021.

The number of seats is limited. Only the companies whose production portfolio matches the needs of the German companies may take part in the event.

The event is realized under the aegis of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, within the Program for Development of Foreign Markets for Small and Medium Enterprises of the Federal Republic of Germany.
