Heating Plant in Nis to Use Loan Proceeds of EUR 4.2 Million for Three Projects

The Nis Heating Plant is to use EUR 4.2 million from the loan of a total of EUR 30 million approved for Serbia by the German Development Bank KfW for the fifth phase of the rehabilitation of the district heating system.

The director of the Heating Plant, Predrag Milacic, said that the money would be used for the realization of three projects – for the reconstruction of the burner at the biggest heating plant in Nis, Krivi Vir, for the replacement of five kilometers of the oldest heating pipes, which are at risk of leaking, and for having the Knjazevacka heating plant switch from mazut to gas.
