The Greek company Autostop is planning to build a new factory in Leskovac across from the existing facility. The new production facility will manufacture pre-fabricated assemblies for waste water treatment, which will be meant for export.

On the occasion of the announced investment, the mayor of Leskovac, Igor Cvetanovic, met with the company’s owner, Panagiotis Pitsikos, and managers Lazar Stojkovic and Igor Rajkovic. The meeting was attended by the heads of various services that operate within the local self-government system.

At the meeting, it was concluded that new investments, as well as the expansion of the economic capacities, showed that Leskovac featured a positive business climate, as confirmed by the fourth BFC certificate, with 96.33% fulfilled criteria.

Autostop has been operating in Leskovac since 2013, and 900 workers are currently employed within their business system.
