Summer Bobsled Track on Zlatibor - Amusement Park "Obudojevica" Opens the Gate in May 2011th

Construction of a winter-summer amusement park "Obudojevica" on the hill above the lake in the center of Zlatibor, is more and more certain. Although the municipality Čajetina land entrusted to "Ski Resorts of Serbia" in 2008th, the work has recently been "frozen", but as we learn, the representatives of the Municipality and Belgrade Company last week agreed on the continuation of the implementation of the project.

A part of the content of the future park will be available to the visitors, from the 1st of May 2011th year.

Public Enterprise "Ski Resorts of Serbia" announced that at the beginning of August 2010th they will publish the tender for the offer for purchase of summer beans on the rails, which will be only one of the attractions of the park in the future.

Except for the summer bobsled track, amusement park will be located at the area of about 7.5 hectares, and will have a "tubing" path, dragon slide, an adventure park. It will have a multifunctional sled track and mountain bike, extreme polygon with trampoline and rock climbing, polygon of ski schools, children's snow park ....

The overall investment is estimated at around 5 million EUR, and in the future, the park will employ about 50 to 80 people.

In addition to the contents in the park, "Ski Resorts of Serbia" will equip the infrastructure of this land, and the most demanding construction will be the mini dams and reservoirs of water to make artificial snow.

How "eKapija" earlier wrote, the installation of artificial snow making will enable the coverage of all the tracks, while the capacity of snow cannons will not be less than 150 m3/sat, which will produce the cover during the snow season at least 25 cm thick.

Bojana Božanić, from the Municipality Čajetina, said to our portal that the amusement park "Obudojevica" will significantly improve tourism on Zlatibor, therefore it will enrich the contents of this tourist center, but also with the help of artificial snowing of the ski trails, will extend the ski season.
