Yumco Facility Opens in Rudna Glava – Investment Worth EUR 1 Million

A new facility of Yumco, where 80 women from the territory of the municipality of Majdanpek are employed, opened on June 26, 2021, in Rudna Glava.

The new factory of Yumco in Rudna Glava, with 1,000 m2, cost around EUR 1 million, the company’s PR representative, Gordana Savic, told Tanjug.

The facility was built in a month and a half and 80 women work in a single shift there. There were 200 female candidates from the wider Majdanpek area at the job contest.

Savic said that 29 new employees had been trained for sewing in Vranje and that they would in turn train the other workers with the help of Yumco’s technologists. Their training began on Monday, June 21, when the facility started working.

The production program of the facility in Rudna Glava, Savic said, is the same as in other factories of this producer from Vranje – clothes, work clothes and military and police uniforms.
