Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today that he expected the Belgrade-Novi Sad railway to be completed by the end of the year and that, regarding the meeting of Serbia’s obligations, the Belgrade-Budapest railway would be completed four years later, “when a train trip between those two cities will take two hours and 45 minutes”.

At a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the Presidency, Vucic said that he would invite Orban to Belgrade on Serbia’s Statehood Day to jointly travel the distance between Belgrade and Novi Sad at around 200 km/h.
