We Reveal the Look of Luxury Tourist Complex in Vranjska Banja – Rooms with Own Pools and “Lady SPA” at Hotel Westin

The company Millennium Resorts is to build two hotels in Vranjska Banja, Westin and Autograph Collection, belonging to the chain of the American hotel company Marriott. This will be the largest project of Marriott International in the Balkans and the largest investment in tourism by Millennium Resorts, the company says for eKapija.

– The investment of Millennium Resorts in tourism and Vranjska Banja, worth EUR 90 million, will encompass two hotels, Westin 4* and Autograph Collection 5* categorization, and it will all be part of an important hotel complex which will also feature the medical center Sofka, apartments, villas and bungalows, which will be built in the next phases, and the plan is for everything to be completed by 2026 – the company says.

The plan, they point out, is for the construction of Hotel Westin, with four stars, to begin soon. They say that it will be “one of the most modern hotels in Serbia”. The first guests should be welcomed as soon as 2023.

It will spread on an area of 40,000 square meters and have 8 floors, and it will feature 190 rooms and apartments, as well as a congress center with a capacity of 600 guests.

The SPA center at Hotel Westin will spread on 4,000 square meters and be positioned on two levels. What will make it unique is that it will have a separate part which will be meant for ladies only, a “lady SPA”, which, as our interviewees point out, will make it unique in Serbia and this part of Europe.

Another special characteristic is that the hotel will feature 20 SPA rooms which will have access to their own outdoor pools.

– Thanks to its favorable location, Vranjska Banja is the closest to a highway of all Serbia spas, being located only 5 kilometers away from the Belgrade-Skopje highway. With new hotel capacities with modern solutions, spa tourism will be able to offer a new level of service and meet the needs of tourists from the country and abroad. With this investment, Millennium Resorts invests in the further development of the Serbian economy and tourism, looking to bring back Vranjska Banja to the tourism map of not just Serbia, but the entire Europe – the company says.

Vranjska Banja is a spa with one of the warmest springs of mineral water in Europe. The water of 94° to 110°, with a capacity of 140 liters per second, emerges to the surface from around ten springs.

The importance of this water does not lie only in its high temperature, but also in its exquisite medical properties (mineral water, rich in sulfur, mildly alkaline). It helps treat all forms of rheumatism, neurological diseases, post-traumatic conditions, diseases of the digestive system, gynecological and skin diseases.
