On the occasion of presenting the economy at Dubai Expo 2020, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia is inviting companies from the sectors of metalworking and electrical industries to apply for taking part in the second thematic week, called “Space Week”, by September 3.

The CCIS invites companies from these sectors who deal in space and air technologies, the technologies of production of “mini” satellites (CubeSat), air industry, innovations, as well as technological-innovative startups and companies which deal in development and research in these fields, to apply for the “Space Week”, which is to be held between October 17 and 23 within Dubai Expo 2020.

Space research is becoming increasingly important and is on its way to being one of the most important fields of development on the global technological level, and the participation of Serbian companies in this thematic week provides a unique opportunity to realize contacts with potential partners from the United Arab Emirates and other countries-participants, says the press release by the CCIS.

– Serbia has a lot to show in the domain of the advanced technologies that are used in space research, aviation and related fields and we have successful and innovative companies which will have an opportunity to present their production-technological programs in this sector, as well as relevant research and science institutions which can present their innovations and find potential subcontractors, suppliers, associates and investors from various countries and continents. The presence of relevant world institutions and producers in the field of space technologies and air industry at Dubai Expo 2020 is an important opportunity for our companies and institutions to become visible and to establish cooperation with big systems such as the NASA, ESA, SPACE X, BOEING – says Marko Selakovic, the head of the CCIS office in Dubai and the B2B director of Dubai Expo 2020, expressing his conviction that Serbian companies from this field will present themselves successfully.
