The Customs Administration of Serbia has recently started implementing the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Program (GTFP).

The GTFP is the joint program of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO) and the World Customs Organization (WCO).

The program aims to contribute to the acceleration and facilitation of international trade in the selected countries-users of the program, that is, their customs administrations, through the implementation and application of international standards and the best practice for the export, import and transit of goods.

At the moment when this important form of help to the Customs Administration of Serbia was being agreed, the GTFP was supposed to last until 2022, but the deadline has now been extended until December 2023, the Customs Administration announced.
