Construction of Factory of Sinopharm Vaccines Helps Develop Business Zone Toward Nikola Tesla Airport

The construction of the Sinopharm vaccine factory should be beneficial to all, because a business zone will develop along the highway toward the Nikola Tesla Airport. The construction of the factory will also solve the utility problems of the residents of the Soko Salas settlement. By the New Year, an access route will be built, as well as the necessary sewer and water infrastructure – the president of the City Municipality of Zemun, Gavrilo Kovacevic, said for Tanjug, as announced on the municipality’s official web page.

On September 26, he visited the works on the construction of the first factory for the production of the vaccines of the Chinese company Sinopharm in the settlement of Soko Salas. By March 2022, Serbia will get the first vaccine filling facility, which should have an annual capacity of around 30 million, and PCR tests will be produced here as well.

The factory is a joint investment of Serbia, China and the United Arab Emirates, is built by a turnkey principle and is a fully new investment that should secure sufficient quantities of the Sinopharm vaccine, not just for Serbia, but the region as well.
