Our aim is to put Serbia, together with its Israeli partners, among the 30 most innovative economies of the world in the next few years, said Marko Cadez, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), at the ceremony held on the occasion of the opening of the CCIS office in Israel, its seventh office in the world, whose aim will be to enhance the economic relations of Serbia and Israel, focusing on the cooperation of companies in innovations and implementation of high technologies, scientific know-how and economic research.

– The CCIS has opened another window to the world, this time our office in Jerusalem, Israel, the most innovative economy in the world. Our goal here at Margalit Startup City, where the office is located, is to help our companies from traditional industries to connect with young companies which have the best high-tech solutions, that is, to digitize and modernize our industry – said Cadez, as announced in the press release of the CCIS.

The president of the CCIS invited all Serbian companies and those that operate in Serbia to contact the CCIS and the office in Jerusalem at Margalit Startup City, where the most innovative companies of the world arrive each day.

– Truly great opportunities are opening for companies to contract jobs, to get support here if your have a good idea for a startup, because Israel is the only place in the world today where you can not just realize your idea quickly, but also get financing for it – Cadez said and invited business people to visit the CCIS office in Jerusalem.

The director of the CCIS office in Jerusalem, Aleksandar Nikolic, stated that Serbia had joined the most modern states in a systemic connecting of technologies.

– With the opening of the CCIS office in Israel, our country has joined the most advanced states, which are working systemically on connecting high technologies. This strengthens the conditions for Serbia to develop as a regional hub in this sector and for the Serbian IT sector to be presented in Israel. It also opens the possibilities for trilateral and multilateral projects with countries with which Serbia and Israel have excellent relations, such as the UAE – Nikolic said.
