Government of Montenegro took over management of Nikšić-based Forge

Government of Montenegro took over management of Nikšić-based Forge, after Russian-British company “Midland” left it after it ran that company for year and half. The Government has formed transition team that should gather Assembly of Stockholders, which should name the new administration of Forge. So far, it is not known when the production will be continued, because the raw materials, i.e. old iron, have not been provided yet and it is not worthwhile to start production on couple of days.

It is assumed that Steel Mill, which is the key unit in Forge, will be put into operation after New Year’s and Christmass holidays.
