Krivokapic Announces Completion of Construction of Podgorica-Boljare Highway for 2027 Year-End

The Podgorica-Boljare highway should be completed, in agreement with Serbia, by December 2027 most likely, as announced by the prime minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapic.

He said that there were two important projects that they would demonstrate in a few days.

– One has been agreed in principle and that is the Adriatic-Ionian highway, which has been agreed with the American side, as well as the completion of our highway from Matesevo to Boljare. That will be realized with the support of the European community. If we do those two roads, Montenegro will have excellent communication which secures a connection with central and western Europe – Krivokapic said.

At a press conference, he said that, today, if we don’t have modern traffic routes, we are in an inferior position compared to others.
