– We congratulate all female entrepreneurs, owners of small businesses, their day, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, which we mark each year on November 19. The Sector of Entrepreneurship of the CCIS is intensively working on improving female entrepreneurship, on the economic strengthening of women. Our aim is for our female entrepreneurs to improve their business, but also to stimulate and motivate as many ladies as possible to start their own business. We put special focus on activities which aim to stimulate young women to go into entrepreneurship – Branislava Simanic, the director of the Sector for Entrepreneurship of the CCIS, pointed out in her congratulatory note.
She reminds that around 31% “female companies” operate in Serbia at the moment, that the initial capital is still one of the main challenges, but that, thanks to the measures of support of the Government of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the growth and the progress of female entrepreneurship is visible, it is said on the CCIS website.
