Momirovic: Preljina-Pakovrace Section on Milos Veliki Highway to be Done by Year-End

The section from Preljina to Pakovrace on the Preljina-Pozega highway will be completed by the end of the year, following which there will no longer be traffic jams at the toll booth in Preljina, stated the minister of construction of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic, who controlled the works on the construction of the highway.

– We have to complete this by the New Year, so that there would not be traffic jams at the toll booth in Preljina. If we maintain these dynamics, in the next month and a half, we can open the part from Preljina to Pakovrace and finally be able to say that we’ve removed traffic jams from Cacak – Momirovic pointed out.

He adds that this will also reduce air pollution in Cacak.

The minister says that all local roads will be returned to their previous state and that this is an obligation under contract for the Chinese partners that are hired for the construction of the highway.

He added that, even if Chinese partners did not honor it, the Roads of Serbia would rehabilitate all the local roads.
