A Rich Program of the Belgrade Winter Event – Entertainment for All Ages Until January 31

The Belgrade Winter event will last until January 31, 2022, and, as the authorities announced, Belgrade will be one of the rare cities in Europe with an organized New Year’s Eve celebration. That is why a lot of tourists, especially from the region, are expected, according to the city’s website.

– The program is largely meant for children, from the “Fairytale Square”, from December 10 to 30, on the square in front of the Municipality of Zvezdara, through the “New Year’s Children’s Caravan”, within which, for the first, time, the program will be organized on 25 locations, to the “Open Heart Square” and “Children’s New Year’s Carnival” and a live show at the same location on December 16. “The Old Town’s Winter” will be organized at Park Vojvoda Vuk., skating rinks will be available for two months from December 25 on the Republic Square and other locations in the city, and there will also be the traditional concert at the Kolarac Concert Hall, for fans of classical music. Another traditional even is the “Open Heart Street”, on January 1, which has existed for 60 years now and which will take place along Svetosavska and Makedonska streets, but also in other city municipalities, as well as two rock concerts, on December 29-30 on the Nikola Pasic Square. With creative workshops, literary contests and other events, this will be a truly excellent celebration – said the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic.

He added that, within Belgrade Waterfront, on December 31, the Belgrade Tower will be lit, an event which will also include a live performance by Goran Bregovic. The live show scheduled in front of the National Assembly building features, among others, Jelena Karleusa, Marija Serifovic and Sara Jo.
