The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said this morning that the agreement on single work permits for the countries within the Open Balkans initiative would probably start being implemented from January 1, 2022, and that only certain technical questions remained to be resolved.

He said for RTS from Tirana that, for that reason, decisions about the connecting electronic and other systems would be made on that date.

When asked what has been done and how much things have changed since the previous Open Balkans meeting in Belgrade in November, Vucic said that a lot had changed and that all the team had made decisions quickly and efficiently.

He said that, the night before, they had also talked to some Albanian businessmen who want to invest money in Serbia and open fish restaurants in the country.
